Inventory management, also known as crib management, can be one of the most difficult parts of maintaining a variety of processes across multiple industries. Without crucial parts available and on-hand, a simple maintenance issue can turn into a massive disruption in productivity. Liquidyne’s inventory management service aims to help prevent these costly interruptions in manufacturing. Our trained team provides the organizational structure and active support required to always know what parts are in stock at our customer locations. By barcoding bins and providing on-site inventory audits, Liquidyne can monitor and maintain inventory at acceptable levels, replenishing inventory as needed when quantities drop below acceptable levels. Typical products for inventory management include stainless steel fittings, clamps, and gaskets. We also provide inventory management for single-use fittings and tubing. Liquidyne’s level of involvement in the inventory management process is up to the customer, ranging from full-service management to facilitation of system setup and automatic shipments of products and equipment.
On-Site Inventory Management
As part of our crib management services, Liquidyne offers on-site barcoding and inventory audits, as well as on-site restocking of managed materials. This can save on labor and helps to avoid costly downtime caused by understocked equipment.
Whether or not our customers have inventory solutions in place, Liquidyne’s goal is to provide additional peace of mind. Customers can adjust our level of involvement to fit their needs, from monitoring and replenishing to providing a full-service, end-to-end solution for covered products.
For customers with more predictable equipment usage, Liquidyne also offers pre-set, automatic product and equipment re-stocking as part of the crib-management process. With this “set it and forget it” model in place, no customer action is needed to replenish frequently used items.
