IMI PBM Sanitary 3-Way Diverter Port Valves
Explore the Advanced Engineering of IMI PBM's 3-Way Diverter Port Valves.
At Liquidyne, valves are essential in managing the flow paths that are crucial to your processes. Our Sanitary 3-Way Diverter Port Valves are engineered to meet the highest hygiene and efficiency standards, making them ideal for sectors where preventing contamination is critical. These valves are offered in Cast Series 9 and Forged Series 8, accommodating pressure and durability requirements with sizes from 1/2" to 6". They are made from 316L Stainless Steel with controlled low ferrite and are also available in corrosion-resistant Hastelloy® C276 or C22®, which helps extend the product's lifespan and ensures safety and durability according to the highest industry standards.
The IMI PBM Sanitary 3-Way Diverter Port Valves design allows for multiple configurations, enabling them to replace two or three 2-way valves effectively. This capability not only saves space but also reduces costs. The valves feature full-port diameters that minimize pressure drops and enhance system efficiency. Our unique Adjust-O-Seal® feature allows easy in-line adjustments to compensate for wear, promoting long-term reliability and performance. Additionally, the True-Bore® design in sanitary valves ensures the internal diameter matches the tubing exactly, which helps reduce turbulence and prevents erosion.
For optimal sealing, the valves are equipped with V-TEF™ or S-TEF® materials for the seats, seals, and stem packings, providing secure upstream and downstream bubble-tight seals. These materials are selected for their excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. The design also includes an integral side-entry or bottom-entry standard port, simplifying the assembly and maintenance process and allowing for more compact system layouts, thus enhancing the overall ease of maintenance. These features make the IMI PBM Sanitary 3-Way Diverter Port Valves a superior choice for industries requiring stringent hygiene standards.
Maximum Working Pressure: Up to 900 psig CWP, varying by valve size and temperature conditions.
Temperature Range: Ambient for V-TEF™ to 450˚ F, depending on seat and seal material.
End Connections: Options include extended tube ends and hygienic clamp connections to suit all types of systems.
Internal Surface Finish: Achieved a standard internal polish of 20 Ra ID in Series 8 and 30 Ra ID in Series 9, without the use of Animal Derived Ingredients (ADIs).
Ideal for use in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage, and cosmetic industries where sanitary conditions are required.
