The Valve boasts a range of impressive features. It is thoroughly tested and certified to API-607 standards, ensuring superior fire safety performance. Made from high-quality materials like 316L stainless steel (ASTM A351 CF3M), Hastelloy® C276, and other ASME B16.34 listed materials, it offers robustness under various operational conditions. The advanced design includes a three-piece "swing-out" body that facilitates thorough cleaning and complete draining. It features upstream and downstream bubble-tight sealing capabilities and a True-Bore® design that ensures the port internal diameter (ID) is consistent with system tubing for unimpeded flow. The Valve is also free of animal-derived ingredients (ADIs), offers surface finishes of up to 20 Ra ID, and is available in mechanical and electropolished finishes. It can handle pressures up to 720 psig and temperatures up to 450°F, depending on the seat and seal material. Additionally, the Valve includes customizable options for end connections, such as extended tubes, hygienic clamps, and compression ends to meet specific system requirements.
Safety features of the Valve include a Spring Return Handle with an optional fusible link that activates at a pre-set temperature, automatically closing the Valve in fire conditions to prevent further hazards. The Valve is also automation-ready, with direct mount automation capabilities for easy integration into automated systems.
Additional options for the IMI PBM Cryogenic Fire Rated Valve include equipping it with a 'Direct Mount' spring return pneumatic actuator for automated operations. There is also the possibility for customization with specific materials and end fittings available upon request to ensure compatibility with specific industrial applications.
