The IMI PBM Angle Stem Tank Bottom Valve (AF Series 1) is a high-performance valve engineered for demanding pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical, and food processing applications. Designed with precision and durability in mind, this valve is ideal for tank bottom applications where automation may interfere with the tank head or jacket.

Adjust-O-Seal® Technology: This unique feature allows in-line valve adjustment to compensate for wear on the valve seats, extending the valve's lifespan and reducing downtime.
Efficient Drainage: The pad radius of the valve is designed to promote efficient drainage, minimizing the pocket area above the ball and ensuring smooth flow. This is particularly important for preventing media buildup and ensuring thorough tank emptying.
Total Vacuum Rating: The AF Series Tank Bottom Valve is rated for full vacuum, making it suitable for various critical process applications.
High-Quality Materials: Available in 316L stainless steel, Hastelloy™, AL6XN™, and other materials, this valve offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability in harsh environments.
No O-rings: The valve is designed without O-rings, reducing the potential for contamination and increasing the ease of maintenance.
Direct Mount Actuation: The stem assembly accommodates direct mount actuation, ensuring accurate alignment and increased cycling life for automated systems.
Sanitary Finishes: The AF Series valve offers a standard internal polish of 125 Ra ID, with options for higher polish levels for hygienic applications. Surface finishes are achieved without using Animal Derived Ingredients (ADI), making them compliant with stringent industry standards.
Sizes: Available in sizes ranging from 1" to 6", with an 8" option available upon request.
End Connections: Choose from a hygienic clamp, FNPT, and 150# RF flange, among other options, to suit your specific application.
Temperature and Pressure Ratings: This valve operates at temperatures up to 450°F, with maximum working pressures up to 900 psig, depending on the seat and seal material.
